We at Hjortsjöskolan are currently seeking a dedicated teacher for German instruction.

To increase upper secondary school eligibility and student attendance, we have a special focus on subject-didactic collegiums (ÄDK), working through learning, leadership, and stimulation, as well as adopting a salutogenic approach. We are looking for someone who wants to develop our school and make a difference for our students together with us.

Hjortsjöskolan 7-9 is centrally located in Vaggeryd and has over 350 students. We work according to a vision where safety and knowledge are important pillars, and the working group is seen as a common resource in clear teamwork. Collaborative learning is an important part of school development to achieve goals for every student to develop both socially and academically. RESPONSIBILITIES

The assignment involves teaching German (approx. 50%), where mentoring may also be relevant. You plan, conduct, and evaluate your pedagogical work in accordance with the current curriculum and governing documents, as well as perform other duties common in the profession.

We work to ensure all children feel responsible, show respect and consideration for people and the environment. We offer a meaningful activity from the moment the student arrives in the morning until they leave for home. To succeed, every employee must, from their "gear" position, mesh with others to make the whole function and ensure the school's "WE" grows!

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with good competencies who is interested in learning and school development. We expect you to meet challenges and pedagogical questions in an open and innovative way and contribute your competencies to the entire team.

In the classroom, you are a clear pedagogical leader who creates trust, engagement, safety, and accessibility. You are expected to work from a subject-didactic approach; you will receive an introduction and training in this upon starting.

Collaborating and establishing good relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and external actors is a given in your role. You document and follow up on each student and maintain continuous dialogue with students, subject teachers, mentors, and parents.

• You are a licensed teacher with qualification to teach German.

OTHER INFORMATION
